KEHATI – The Indonesian Biodiversity Foundation is an independent, non-profit, self-sustained national grant-making foundation working in the area of biodiversity conservation and biological resource management. The foundation aims to support and promote efforts for the conservation and sustainable use of Indonesia's rich biological resources, by providing financial support, technical assistance, and facilitation to local communities, academic institutions and civil society organizations in Indonesia.

KEHATI is now inviting professionals to apply for the following position:

PROGRAM DIRECTOR

Responsible directly to the Executive Director, Program Director will manage the foundation's grant program to achieve its mission and objectives. The main responsibilities are to initiate and implement innovative and strategic grant programs for conservation and sustainable use of biodiversity, establish and maintain collaborative efforts with key stakeholders, and provide leadership in expanding the funding sources for conservation and sustainable use of biodiversity programs.

Key Qualifications:

1. Has strong leadership skills;

2. Has at least 7 years professional experience in managing grant program, preferably in the area of conservation and sustainable use of biodiversity;

3. Has knowledge and understanding on community development & natural resources policy/regulation issues;

4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to deal with multi-stakeholders both in internal and external organization;

5. Ability to develop network with bilateral and multilateral donor institutions, corporate sponsorships and other similar institutions;

6. Proficiency in bahasa Indonesia and English.

FOREST ECOSYSTEM PROGRAM OFFICER

Responsible directly to the Program Director, Forest Ecosystem Program Officer will manage the foundation's grant program for conservation and sustainable use of forest resources; establish and maintain collaborative efforts with key stakeholders; and managing grant disbursement, reporting and administration.

Key Qualifications:

1. Hold a bachelor degree (S-1) majoring in Forestry or Biodiversity;

2. Four to five years of experience in managing grant program for conservation and sustainable use of forest resources;

3. Has knowledge and understanding on community development & natural resources policy/regulation issues;

4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to deal with local community group; national and local government; and university;

5. Excellent proposal preparation and presentation skills;

6. Proficiency in bahasa Indonesia and English.

STAKEHOLDERS ENGAGEMENT SPECIALIST

Responsible directly to the Executive Director, Stakeholders Engagement Specialist will identify, establish and manage the foundation's relationship with corporate, donor institutions and other stakeholders in fund raising activities; following up fundraising initiatives submitted to corporate and/or donor institutions, and coordinate programmatic and logistic arrangements and set action plans for follow up.

Key Qualifications:

1. Hold a bachelor degree (S-1) majoring in Marketing or Business Development;

2. Three to four years experience as Marketing Officer or Business Development Officer;

3. Ability to develop relationship with the Foundation's stakeholders, specially with corporate/business institution and donor institutions;

4. Understand environment and/or biodiversity issues is preferred;

5. Excellent proposal preparation and presentation skills;

6. Proficiency in bahasa Indonesia and English.
