Friends Indonesia is seeking a qualified Outreach Team leader.
Position Summary
The Outreach Team Leader will ensure that the outreach team is providing best quality services to marginalized children and youth, their families and communities based on their needs and the FI mission. The outreach team leader is working under the supervision of the Program Director in Banda Aceh
Main Responsibilities
The Outreach Team Leader will:
1. Leading and coordinating the Outreach Team (Mobile DIC and Moto Outreach) in providing services to targeted groups based on the Teman Baik log frame
2. Ensuring the outreach team is regularly assessing the overall situation of the children and their families (snapshot surveys, community case managements)
3. Working directly in the field (street, community, Government centers) with the Outreach team in providing services to targeted group, based on FI standards (child protection procedures, guide books)
4. Manage the development of the ChildSafe Network in Banda Aceh
5. Ensuring the team is using adequate tools and developing new tools for social services and for the running the ChildSafe Network
6. Providing regular activity reports (weekly, monthly and quarterly) to Program Director
7. Manage and supervise the budget for outreach team
8. Supervise the Cash Advance for all outreach activities, including the vehicle maintenance
Requirements
Education: Degree in Educational or Social areas
Knowledge: Non formal education, social work, team and project management.
Experiences: 2 years experience in managing social working team or project
Computer and office technology: Microsoft Word and Excel
Language: Bahasa Indonesia (native), good level of spoken and written English is mandatory, any other language a plus
Skills: good management and communication skills, creative and innovative
Location: This position is based in Banda Aceh and will require some travels
Duration: Full-time work
