Muslim Aid Indonesia is currently seeking to hire "Media and Communication Officer" who is willing to be located at Banda Aceh city with frequent visit to different projects and sub-field offices.


MEDIA AND COMMUNICATION OFFICER
Based in Banda Aceh

The Media and Communication Officer must be a creative and innovative individual who demonstrates the ability to improve the organization's image through national and international media. The position will be responsible to produce positive publicity which reflects the dignity of the organization's work. As well as building up human interest stories and articles to feature in newspapers and magazines, the individual will be producing awareness through advertising, TV news and documentaries. To design and implementation of Specific Programs and concerns and thereby promote greater public awareness of, and understanding and support for Muslim Aid . The candidate must be able to maintain, develop and update Muslim Aid's website, manage and update data base MAI Program/Project (digital and hard copy data) and prepare quarterly reports and news letters for Muslim Aid Head Office in London as well as for other stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experiences:
Male/Female aged between 28-37; Bachelor Degree in communication/journalism/advertising/ broadcasting/public relations, project management;TOEFL score min 550 and strong English communication ability both in oral and written; Thorough familiarity with common media software; Have existing wide network with local and international media; Advance skill in photography, video production and writing for print media; Good analytical skill and creativity, pressure persistent and adaptable, willing to frequent field visit; Has an impressive portfolio; Can work in a team and well organized; Has the spirit of working to serve humanity; Minimum 3-5 years related experience.
